Fenelon Opportunity Fund Inc. was formed to back business ventures directly — the founders and operators building companies, not passive real estate or tax-advantaged investment programs. We are not a Qualified Opportunity Fund and do not invest in Opportunity Zones.
The office is run directly by its founder, who is personally accountable for every commitment on the book. There is no committee to dilute conviction — every position is one we would be glad to hold for a generation.

Opportunities come from relationships and primary diligence, not brokers or auctions. We look for businesses and assets undervalued because of complexity, neglect, or timing — never because the underlying quality is broken.
Size the margin of safety
Every commitment is underwritten to a specific view of intrinsic value and a specific reason it's mispriced today. If we can't state both plainly, we don't make the investment.
Let the thesis play out
Commitments are sized to be meaningful and held with a multi-year, often multi-generational horizon. We engage directly and constructively wherever it serves the position.
